Families with children under the age of seven  adopt a puppy at their own risk due to risk of injury or death from dropping, squeezing, and rough play. 

You have four (4) business days to have your puppy vet checked if  it  is to be guaranteed.  If your veterinarian finds a health related problem not mentioned on the disclosure when examined within 4 working days from date of purchase, please notify me immediately.  Bring this puppy back to me along with a statement or report of illness from your veterinarian and you will receive a full refund or a replacement puppy if available. 

 
This puppy is guaranteed to be free of Parvo, Distemper, Corona and Kennel cough for up to 72 hours.  (These are highly contagious diseases, and they can be contacted immediately after leaving the breeder).

If there is an existing condition listed on the disclosure, that condition is not covered by the warranty. You are then buying this pet knowing their may be additional treatment required at your expense.

As long as your puppy is vet checked within (4) days from date of purchase, it is guaranteed for (1) year from date of birth against any life threatening genetic defects. 

This guarantee does NOT cover  things like: hypoglycemia, weak stifle/patella’s, tear staining, over or under bites, umbilical or inguinal hernias, retained testicles, internal or external parasites (worms, fleas, ticks or mites).

This guarantee does not cover negligence, accidental injuries, illness, or death that is not attributed directly to the normal health and physical fitness of the puppy. 

Buyer understands that any and all guarantees expire one year form the date of birth.

If a life threatening congenital/hereditary problem should arise during the puppy‘s first year of life, you must notify me immediately.  All veterinarian paperwork pertaining to the dog needs to be immediately forwarded to me by your veterinarian.  I have the right to have the dog examined by a veterinarian of my choosing for a second opinion.  I will refund to you the original price of the puppy providing both veterinarians agree that there is a hereditary defect limiting the life of this puppy to live a healthy normal lifespan. 

If euthanasia is necessary, an autopsy performed at the University of Minnesota  (or another mutually agreed upon facility, if you live outside of Minnesota) must verify the findings to be hereditary.  Cost of said autopsy to be buyer’s expense.

This pup is sold as a pet companion only.  No guarantee is made to size, disposition, or conformation.  Due to health related issues in intact dogs, the buyer agrees to spay/neuter  this puppy before 10 months of age.  

APRI Litter Registration papers will be sent to the buyer when proof of spay/neuter by a licensed veterinarian has been given to the seller.  The buyer is aware that if this dog is ever used for breeding, buyer agrees to pay seller punitive damages of  $1,500 per offense.

Seller will not be responsible for any feeding or diet related problems.  You are aware that this puppy must eat every few hours.  Hypoglycemia risks in a small breed puppy have been explained to you, and you are responsible to see that your puppy is eating frequently. You must monitor how much food your puppy is actually eating. 

This warranty will become null and void  if vaccinations are given less than 3 to 4 weeks apart!  You are responsible to make sure your veterinarian does only one vaccination at a time.

The buyer is responsible for the entire maintainence of this puppy from the date of purchase. 

At NO time under any circumstances will the seller be responsible for any vet bill incurred by the buyer. 

Liability is limited to and will not exceed the purchase price of the puppy.

Sale is to be considered initiated and finalized in Hennepin County, Minnesota.  Seller is bound only to the original buyer.

No warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied are made under this contract except as stated above.
